Healthy Low Calorie Cocktails From Texas Living TV Segment with Betty Murray

Sticking to your New Year’s Resolutions just got easier with these low calorie cocktails from Sparkling ICE and HINT Water.  Ditch the cocktail mixes and juices that are loaded with sugar and calories.  Instead, mix your favorite liquor with a yummy zero-calorie beverage packed with natural flavors.

Friday, January 4th, Betty Murray will join the hosts of Texas Living on KTXD-TV to talk about how to have your cocktail without breaking your New Year’s resolution.  Below are the recipes she is sharing today.  

These are a few of our favorite winter cocktails that fall under 150 calories.  Easy to make – with minimal ingredients required – these cocktails are great for girl’s night get-togethers, unwinding after a long day at the office, or celebrating with friends and family for special occasions.

 

Blackberry Apple HINT Martini

 Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Green Apple Vodka
  • 3 oz Sparkling Apple Cider
  • 2 oz HINT Blackberry Water

 

Directions: In a cocktail shaker, combine green apple vodka, sparkling apple cider, Blackberry HINT, and ice; shake until well combined. Strain into chilled glass. Garnish with an apple wedge; serve immediately.

 

Strawberry-Kiwi HINT Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Rum
  • 2 oz Club Soda
  • 3 oz Strawberry-Kiwi HINT Water
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 1 lime

Directions: In a cool tall glass, gently crush mint leaves and add lime juice from one lime. Fill glass with ice. Add rum, club soda, and Strawberry-Kiwi HINT water. Stir well. Garnish with a lime wedge, a few sprigs of mint and enjoy! 

 

Raspberry Vanilla Dreamsicle

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz Vanilla Vodka
4 oz Black Raspberry Sparkling ICE

Directions: Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with fresh berries.

 

Sparkling Lemon Lime Margarita

Ingredients:

3 oz Lemon Lime Sparkling ICE

1 ½ oz Tequila

Splash of fresh squeezed orange

Fresh squeezed lime

Directions: Shake and pour into a chilled rocks glass rimmed in salt. Garnish with a lime slice.
